There are definitely differences in plates and equipment, but a lot of that can be overcome (unless you just got a defective set, which is possible). Let's see if I can get you some tips that will get your money's worth out of that investment! :)M.M. I saw the same TV kit in rite aid and bought it. I thought if i could get it to work, it would be worth buying plates from konad. I tried different polishes, tried to be quick about getting the image off the plate & onto my nail but it never worked out. The image was either a blob, only part of the image transfered or nothing transfers at all. I chalked it up to the whole kit being less than $20 and decided i didn't want to risk buying a much more expensive kit. <br />Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15851708661198259595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3353968013763907912.post-70529775532960146412013-06-30T23:25:47.896-07:002013-06-30T23:25:47.896-07:00I hope it will be helpful...I'll do my best! :...I hope it will be helpful...I'll do my best! :) Alignment is a big one and I know what you mean about the design folding over on itself or seeming to cling to itself. Timing is a huge issue for me with polish drying before I get it scraped, picked up, the excess off the scraper, positioning it and lining it up just right, and then only part of the image transfers due to a dried out image!!! Eek. I do have trouble with "seeing" how the image should be laid on and get a lot of my designs backwards of how I want them. That is not something though that your tips will help, I just don't have the spatial skills and can't visualize.
