NOTD: Pink and Blue!

Hello!

I have another stamping challenge NOTD for you today--the challenge was 'Pink And Blue'. I know what you're thinking...But Michelle, you hate pink, how are you even going to do this?? To which I say: Hey! Get out of my head!

Sorry. I'm okay now. Or at least I will be when the meds kick in.

To answer your question, I own two pink polishes...well, one pink polish and one sort of pink polish (Hot Topic's Deceit, which is a layering polish glitter so it doesn't even count). Luckily for me, the one pink polish I own is a polish I can stamp with, because I bought it for exactly that purpose. And because of that, I was able to participate in the challenge--barely.

Here is what I did:

The pink is Sinful Colors' Dancing Nails, and the blue is Revlon's Tidal Wave; I stamped the circles using Drikk plate Drk-K, and then added some coordinating rhinestones. I recently used my middle finger as an accent finger to hide a split, and I liked it, so I did it here again.

Even though I'm not much of a pink fan, I do like it this way, combined with the blue. I guess I just don't like the canonical pink cotton-candy nails, but when they have a little edge, I don't mind them so much. That's the cool thing about nail art challenges, they push you out of your comfort zone and you find out you like things you might not have thought you would. :)

Thanks for reading, and please check out the other ladies who participated by clicking the InLinkz below!
