I believe I have found my favorite holiday red polish. Definitely for the year, possibly for everz.

Come on, seriously. That's your Christmas holidays in a bottle, right there! This is two coats, excellent formula, and application that might pull a little on the first coat, but evens out perfectly on the second. I love a good red and I love a good flakie, and this is the perfect intersection of the two. It's like a fire in the fireplace at the end of a cold winter day--maybe you've been out picking your Christmas tree, and now you're curling up with a glass of wine or a cup of cocoa and the flames and embers are embracing you in their soft glow. *sigh*

I wanted to do something that captured the elegant holiday feel of the polish, so I pulled out UberChic Beauty 4-03 (you can see my full review of this collection here):

I stamped with Barry M Gold Foil, and rotated the direction of the image across the different nails:
