(Press samples and affiliate links ahead!)

Hello!

It's always a fun day for me when I get to review a Christmas plate, and it's always a fun day when I get to review an UberChic Beauty plate so I guess that means since I'll be reviewing UberChic Beauty's Christmas 02 plate, today is fun squared!

(Yes, I'm a turbo geek.)

Here's the video review I did of the plate:

And let's take a look at some stills:

I've been very excited about all of the layering images she's been adding to the plates lately and I love that she has several on this one--the holly and berries, the candy canes, the ornaments, the bow. And there's so much else to love--the presents on ropes, the beautiful scroll-y tree and the laser-cut looking trees, lol. Enough awesomeness to get you through the whole holiday season.

Let's take a look at size:

The full  nail images are 17 x 22mm, and the shots above give you a feel for inches, and for the sizes of the smaller elements.

So how do they stamp?

Amazing! And yeah, I didn't get the candy canes lined up correctly--that's what happens when you try to do these things on camera. my tip is to line them up in the center of the nail and press down, don't try to roll from one side to the other or you'll end up like this.

For my sample mani, I started with a base of Zoya Saint, a gorgeous blue-lavender duochrome from Zoya's Enchanted collection. Then I stamped the tree images with Messy Mansion Forest, and then the snow with Messy Mansion Chalk.

What do you think? I love the way the blues and purples in the duochrome goes with the green in the trees, and the white just dots it all with a bit of brightness. This makes me happy. :)

You can find the plate in UberChic Beauty's store, and you can follow them on Facebook and Instagram for news and inspiration.

Happy stamping!
M.

  3. Aww, sweet. And you used my 2 fave images (both trees) in this.
But look at that polish, would'ya, looks like you sponged some light lilac on there, but nope, that's just amazingness from Saint.
