UberChic Beauty recently released a new collection--lucky 13! So of course, I have a review for you, both in video form:

Plate 13-01: Love the sunflower-like flower (so many flowers in this set make me think of sunflowers or suns) and the hearts on a string, and the layering images! I'm so excited she's putting more of these on the plates.
Plate 13-02: I love the art deco flower pods in the two different sizes, and the powder-puff flowers and the gorgeous geometrics, and layering images for mosaic effects!
Plate 13-03: I love the 3D cubes and the definite sunflowers, and not just layering images, but layering images with matching complementary images! These make it so easy to create complex effects in a second.
How about size?

Hey, did I mention I loved all the sunflower-type images on these plates? I decided to do a Sunflower mani to wear on Thanksgiving using the flowers on 13-03. I started with a skittle of LynBDesigns Pliny The Elder, and Zoya Channing. I stamped the sunflower image with Messy Mansion Soft Gold on my thumbs, indexes and middle fingers. I made decals with Messy Mansion Carbon, Zoya Prim and Shinespark Polish Harvest. On one hand I put three decals, and on the other hand I went with two:

Which version to you like better? I think I like the one with two decals better than the three, but I go back and forth. :)

ReplyDeleteI like the one with 3 decals, though I see it more as "2 and a half", which is even better: I think *the half* part sort of connects both themes in your art and it's got more "flow" to it because of that, knowwhatImean?
