Hello!
Hey, how's it going? I almost fainted during a workout today--I hope your day was better than mine!
Let's shift gears to something more pleasant--another new release from UberChic Beauty, their Lovely Leaves plate. Here's my video review:
And let's take a look at some still shots:

As you may have noticed, this plate is about leaves. Delicate leaves with jewelry-like skeletons showing--cute leaves with little dots to make leafy dotticures--filigree leaves for when you're feeling fancy--leaf shapes made up into sun-like circles and flowers--even laurel-leaf leaves. Need a negative-space leaf pattern to show off that autumn holo? Got it. Want to mix and match several patterns with a similar feel? Got 'em. Just need a single leaf? It's here. Want a bunch of leaves all together because you don't have time to mess around? Done.
And my very favorite feature of all--a set of layering images so you can create whatever sort of leafy tree you want. Or leave the leafs off entirely! (see what I did there?)
Here's a feel for the relative size of the images:
And, as usual, the stamping quality is top notch--check out the detail here, stamped with Messy Mansion Chalk:
Okay, so, let's get to the sample mani. I started with a base of The Lady Varnishes Destiny (click here to see a swatch). Then I stamped with Hit The Bottle Polish Copper-Haired Girl (also available at Beautometry), and Sally Hansen No S-pear Time:

I love how these colors play together. Destiny is such a gorgeous fall polish to start with, and these patterns and colors just pull all that gorgeousness out. Love!
Happy stamping,
M.
A very nice leafy mani!

ReplyDeleteMy pleasure! Glad it was helpful. :)
Deleteyour stamping is, as always, flawless.
ReplyDeleteYou are too, too kind. :)
DeleteBeautiful mani 😍 I just love this plate
ReplyDeleteThough I don't particularly like fall (nothing new here), I find this plate really really pretty. I just love such leafy manis, and I remember a few of yours being especially lovely (Before & After: Leaf Me Alone (Nov 2015), Before & After: Happy Thanksgiving!! (Nov 2014)).
ReplyDeleteAnd as always, some great ideas on how to use such a plate.
