Before & After: Snowy Peaks

Hello!!

Today I'm gonna streeeetch the boundaries of Monday Blues a bit...I have a divide-and-conquer teal that some people see as blue, and some people see as green. I'm one of those who see it as blue first, and so does Mr. LHOLH, but it you think you'd classify it as more green, well, that's okay, too. :)

Here we have Shirley Ann Nail Lacquer Telltale Teal, a soft, luminescent green-leaning teal with a hint of lavender glow:

This is a very sheer polish (I have three coats on), and it's perfect for glitter sandwiches and the like. I decided I wanted to do a stamping sandwich with it, using MoYou-London's Landscape (aka Mother Nature) 06 (I will be reviewing this for you in the next couple of days). You know how when you look at a range of hills or mountains in the distance, the ones farther away will seems hazier, and the ones up closer are more clear? That was the effect that inspired me.

I stamped each of the nails using Konad white, and then I painted another coat of the polish over each of the nails except for the ring finger.

What do you think? I think it's a soft look that's simple to do, and allows the polish to shine. :)

Happy Monday--I hope you have a wonderful week.

I've never heard of a stamping jelly sandwich before... I've only ever done glitter jelly sandwiches... I'll have to give this a try :)

    1. You should, it's so fun! The best is when you have a polish with medium opacity, and you cover all your nails. It makes it look like you have the most amazingly matched stamping polish...

  5. Clever lass! It does show more green to me, but that could easily be monitor settings. LOL

Seriously, I love this! And yes, I too see it more as green (but that's ok, green is prettier than blue :P)
