NOTD: That voodoo that you do

(Affiliate links)

Hello!

You know that I love creepy Halloween nail art. In fact, my nail art sometimes goes a little farther on the dark side than many of the nail blogs out there. I know this. I own it.

But this time I made a manicure that even kinda creeps ME out.

I started with a base of Barry M Cotton, a white creme that does a pretty darn good job of covering without a ton of fuss, just a little patchiness on the first coat--that's better than most white cremes. Then I stamped a voodoo doll using Bundle Monster BM-413, using Konad black; I decorated the pins with Sally Hansen Orange Impulse, Lickety-Split Lime, and Grape Going. Then I stamped the other nails with Bundle Monster BM-416, using Sally Hansen Rapid Red:

That voodoo that you do...

That voodoo that you do...

That voodoo that you do...

Don't get me wrong, I like it. I like it a lot. It's creepy in a good way, but definitely creepy. I'm not sure why--I've done blood manicures for Halloween before, some that included body parts. But this one, I don't know...maybe it's that little face...::shudders::

What do you think, deliciously creepy or stalker chic?

Happy stamping!
M.

  2. I'm sorry, but I disagree with you. I don't think that they're creepy at all. In fact, I think they are so cute! That little guy is just the cutest thing ever.

  3. Um.. I guess it's creepy BECAUSE that guy is cute (and then there's all the blood around), and somehow that's just the worst, if you ask me. :)

  4. That face is adorable!
I'm kinda picturing that voodoo doll you find in Easter Plaguelands in World Of Warcraft, in the bloody house after the werewolf attack..
Maybe you are subconsciously missing the game (?)

    *wink wink*
