Supernatural Lacquer Wrath of the Heavens!

(Press samples and affiliate links ahead!)

Hello!

How's it going? Are you enjoying your long weekend (if you're in the States)? Are you excited about the unofficial start of summer? I have to say, I've been in a really good mood for no good reason, and I'm just leaning' on into it.

Anyway. Today I have a most excellent polish from Supernatural Lacquer to show you, their offering into this month's Pickup Polish curated collection inspired by video games! Supernatural Lacquer Wrath of the Heavens is inspired by Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. I've never played Diablo, although I've always meant too--I used to put all of my video game time into World of Warcraft. Now that I've kicked that addiction, maybe I should try my hand at Diablo...

Wrath of the Heavens is a blackened evergreen-leaning teal jelly with a shifting blue-green shimmer, orange, red and gold color-shifting flakies and blue and silver holo flakies, along with--just to make sure it's beyond awesome--a spray of holo glitter:

This feels like a deep, enchanted forest flowing with fiery leaves--it also makes me think of crushed velvet and encrusted jewels that throw light when your fingers move. It's rich and elegant, but also powerful. And, possibly because Diablo and World of Warcraft are made by the same company and have a similar aesthetic, it makes me think of an elven druid I used to play in WoW. So, I just had to dress that elf up in some formal finery:

This is stamped with MoYou London Mandala Collection 14, and Messy Mansion Soft Gold. I think it feels like a deco flapper dress, with one of those cool headpieces. This was definitely one of those manicures I never wanted to take off!

You can pick up Wrath of the Heavens from the Polish Pickup site between June 1st and 4th, for $12. There will be a cap of 200 bottles, so snap yours up! You can check out Supernatural Lacquer's other creation here:

And don't forget to join the Polish Pickup Pack over on Facebook.

Big hugs,
M. xoxo
