Hello!
In my videos, I've talked several times about 'negative' images, images where your stamping polish ends up being the background of your design, and your base polish shines through in the shape of the design (the flower itself, or whatever the main element is). I love this concept especially when you have a gorgeous polish that you want to be the star of the design, but it won't stamp--like some beautiful holos, duochromes, and the like. So today I wanted to show you an example of what I mean.
I started of with a base of the stunning Sex On The Beach, by Top Shelf Lacquer, a gorgeous scattered rose holo glitter that covers in two coats:

How gorgeous is that polish shining through?! I'd love a bouquet of roses that look like that, no doubt. I think someone should get on that right now, create a breed of holographic glitter roses--sign me up!
Happy stamping,
M.
The base polish is pretty and paired with the stamping, looks gorgeous.
