Hello!
Oh yes, it's officially my favorite time of year again--Halloween! So today we're going to take a look at UberChic Beauty's Halloween 03 plate, and here's the video review I did of it:
And here's a look at the plate:
What I love best about this plate: That group of ghosties and the witch's hand scraping into whatever...And the dancing skeleton and the crazy cat make me smile for days. :) And skulls. Lotsa skulls.
UberChic full-nail images are 1.7 x 2.1 cm, and here's a shot with a ruler so you can gauge the size of the rest:
How's the quality? Take a look:
These swatches were done with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Plummet and a clear stamper. :)
For my first manicure, I started with a base of Sally Hansen Blacky O and Get Mod, then I stamped with Messy Mansion Carbon and Chalk:

Oh my gosh, that skeleton just plain makes me happy!!! I love how this came out. :)
For the second mani, I started with a full mani of Sally Hansen Blacky O which I treated with the Sally Hansen Salon Chrome in Peacock. Then I stamped using Hit The Bottle Polish Holo There Beautiful, Midnight Pumpkin, and It Mossed Be Love (also available at Beautometry):

There's just something about the idea of a creepy witch plucking juicy spiders out of their web for her dinner that just makes me giggle...and how beautiful is that holo stamping polish?!
I did a tutorial video for you if you want to recreate this look:
And, you know, I had to throw in an extra surprise, because, Halloween...DAVID S. PUMPKINS!!
I wanted so bad to do a David S. Pumpkins manicure last year but ran out of time, so I jumped on this! I pulled out UberChic Beauty Halloween 01 as well to add a different funny skeleton. Yes, my freehanded tie and lapels aren't perfect, but I think that just adds to the goofiness, and I love it!
You can find the plate on sale now in UberChic Beauty's shop, and you can follow them around the interwebs here:
