Before & After: Fairy wand with Born Pretty Store 06

(Press samples)

Hello!

Oh yes, I'm back with another Before & After, *bam*!

(Sorry, I think I channeled some Emeril there for a moment...)

This time I started with the lovely Zoya Leah:

Zoya-Leah
Zoya Leah

Then I stamped the fairy princess wand and a swath of stars using Born Pretty Store 06, and  Zoya Rayne (yes, it stamps!!).

BPS 06

Finally, I put a little ILNP Metroplis over the stars to add a little magic, and I balanced the mani by putting a thick coat on my index finger:

Fairy-wand
Fairy wands and magic songs...

Unlike the other Born Pretty Store plates I received, I did struggle with this one. I think it's because the images are so close together; it was very difficult to scrape and isolate. I did manage to get decent images, but it took work.

If you're looking to make a purchase at Born Pretty Store, I have a coupon code you can use for 10% off of your non-sale-price order:

Happy stamping!

  3. I'm always worried about that with stamping plates that are completely covered or have the images so close together. I use the XL Squishy stamper from BPS and it can pickup quite a bit. Lovely mani :)

  7. What a seriously fun combination of polishes! I'm a little bit in awe that Rayne stamps because she is pretty sheer on her own. Excellent use of flakies, too ♥

  15. Such a cute mani! I feel like it reminds me of a fairy like Tinkerbell <3 I have this plate sitting on my desk for the longest time. I cannot wait to use it now.

  16. I love this! Usually if an image is difficult to isolate I just make a decal. Works much easier since I tend to work too slowly.

  17. That's my only problem with plates like this. Your mani came out really nice though! It makes me think of the fairy godmother from Cinderella.

  20. ...and what about your thumb? :) I'm thinking it's either "bare" (well, just polished, I mean) or topped with glitter?

But anyway. This got me thinking of lullabies, somehow; I guess the whole theme of this plate reminds me of this children's story "The Sleepy little Star" that we have.
    A really lovely mani!
