Hello!
Today I have a very quick before and after for you. Remember I said I thought Zoya Rayne looked like something Elsa from Frozen would wear? Well, it inspired me to do a wintery, sci-fi-esque frozen landscape sort of manicure.
I started with Zoya Rayne, of course:
Zoya Rayne |
The, using Cici&Sisi 13, I stamped with Barry M Silver Foil. I finished off with some rhinestones for emphasis:
Frozen planet-scape |
Watch out for that ton ton around the corner... |
Is that Superman hanging out in there? |
The trick I used here was simply to isolate parts of the images so I could change up the pattern on the nails. If you're not sure how to do that, check out my tutorial here.
So what do you think--does this make you want more winter, or are you ready for spring already??
Happy polishing,
M.
This is beautiful but I'm definitely ready for spring! I love what you did with Rayne.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! And I can't blame you about spring :)
DeleteThat blue is gorgeous. Love the stamping here too and how different each one is from the other.
ReplyDeleteThank you! One of my favorite techniques. :)

DeleteThe rhinestones and the stamping match up perfectly! How awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love it when a plan comes together!
DeleteOh, I am so ready for spring! At least it wasn't 10 degrees outside so I could spend my energy being frustrated with my flat bike tire instead, lol
ReplyDeleteHoly wow. That's ridonculously crazy...
DeleteThat's a perfect design for Rayne, and wintery, but spring is already here (at lest in Sweden).
ReplyDeleteThank you! Sadly, most of the US is still waiting...
DeleteLovely color ! Can see wearing it winter and spring:)
ReplyDeleteAgreed--very versatile that way. For summer too, I think. :)
DeleteI absolutely LOVE THIS!!!! I can create the isolated look too but that's just because I can never stamp a whole image on my nails :-P Gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteROFL!!! Thank you! :)
DeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteThis looks nice and subtle. Here in India were are near summers now.
ReplyDeleteI like the mani and all, but what I what I thought was the best was the ton ton caption! Made my geeky heart happy.
ReplyDeleteI just love when a polish immediately gives you inspiration for something :) Rayne wears great on you :)
ReplyDeleteBring in the Spring ;) Though this mani is totally beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBoo on you with your crazy talk of more winter (that's just nuts!). :)
ReplyDeleteI can agree it is a lovely mani; I especially like that random seeming stamping.
