Hello!
Oh yes, summer is holding on strong here...it hovered around 90 degrees both yesterday and today. And there's not much relief coming any time soon.
So, what else can I do but show you one of the summeriest summer manicures I've ever made? That's right, you've been warned--you're about to be hit by the brightest, citrusiest, beach-blanketiest manicure you've ever seen in your life. I've been saving it for just such an occasion. :)
I started with a base of Revlon Beach, a really unusual shade of greenish-yellow (yellowish-green) with a metallic finish:
Revlon Beach, indirect sunliht, two coats |
Revlon Beach, direct sunlight, two coats |
Then I added a coat of Lush Lacquer Sizzling Hot, and then stamped a large citrust pattern over it all with Konad White and Bundle Monster BM 308:
Yeah, baby! Tell me that isn't beach-blanket-citrus-licious! No, I don't know what that means, either! But it definitely makes a statement. :)
I hope you're enjoying your dog days of summer, and thanks for taking a look! Hugs and love,
M.

What a unique color! Love what you did with it :)
ReplyDeleteThank you darling! It is unique, isn't it? Sort of mesmerizing...>.>
DeleteIt looks really sixties to me, no idea why! I love what you did with the stamping, I'd never think of that. The yellow isn't a colour I'd normally go for but I love how different & fun this mani is!
ReplyDeleteYes yes yes!! Perfect color for a 60s look! And thank you, I'm glad you liked it! :)
