Dixie Plates Spring 02 (plus, video with tips on layering images!)

(Press samples and affiliate links ahead!)

Hello!

You guys you guys you guys I am so excited...My first book is coming out soon and I'm gonna have some news about that soon! I've seen my cover, and I'm planning out a manicure inspired by it...watch this space...

In the meantime, we're gonna take a look today at another new plate from Dixie Plates, her Spring 02 plate. I did a video using this plate to give some of my tips for layering images successfully, which you can see here (including how to fix some errors I make along the way, hehehe!):

Here's an up-close shot of the plate itself:

And here's a shot that shows how big the images are:

On to the manicures! I've already shown you one manicure featuring images from this plate, but here it is again if you missed it, showing a way to use the individual flowers:

Base Polish(es): The Lady Varnishes Sky Reflections
Stamping Plate(s): Dixie Plates Spring 02
Stamping Polish(es): Girly Bits Silver Bells and Moonflower Polish Amatista

Next up I wanted to play with the full-nail layering image:

Base Polish(es): Girly Bits Cosmetics Eggplant One On Me, Forget Me? Not! and Spellbound Nails The Veil
Stamping Plate(s): Dixie Plates Spring 02
Stamping Polish(es): Girly Bits Cosmetics Eggplant One On Me, Forget Me? Not!, Purple Heyyyys, Silver Bells, and Little Black Dress

With this one, I wanted to show an example of using the layering images as intended, but then also mixing that up with using just the top layer of the images. I love how it came out!

For the last mani, I wanted to try out one of the negative space images, and thought it would be cute to pair it with the other tulip image:

What do you think? Which one is your favorite?

You can buy this plate from Dixie Plates now; you can also get the plate from Lantern & Wren or Beautometry.

Big hugs,
M. xoxo
