Comparison post: Zoya Ivanka & Zoya Logan

Hello!!

So how long has it been since I've done a comparison post for you? It's been a long time, because most of my polish has been in storage, due to construction. In fact, it still mostly is. However, I found this one in the vault, but it's perfect for the fall and winter seasons, so I instantly decided it must be shown!

If you're looking for a gorgeous green to get you through the rest of the year, Zoya has two beauties that feature lovely fall-esque gold flecks. Which is right for you? Well, let's have a look. :) Here I compare for you Zoya Ivanka vs. Zoya Logan. These are both forest-green polishes with gold flecks, but Ivanka is a bit lighter than Logan. So which one is better for your needs? Let's have a look:

We have Ivanka on the left, and Logan on the right; in the below pictures we have Ivanka on the index and ring fingers, and Logan is on the middle and pinky:

Ivanka is a little light on the nail, more like a grass green, while Logan is definitely more in the foresty family. The gold shows up more distinctly in Logan, but gives a foil effect in Ivanka.

So which one do you like better?

Hugs,
M.

  1. I desperately need Logan. I have no idea why I don't have it yet. Great swatches! I love comparison posts! ^_^

    2. Not until I get that polish I want you to have out to you! Every time I run across it I remember, and take it out to package it, and then get distracted and leave it somewhere weird. I don't know where it is right now, but I plan on doing a deep cleaning soon, and I'm sure I'll find it in the fridge or something. :p

    3. That is the story of my life...no worries, if you get to it or don't. Not like I don't have enough polish, lol!! :)

  2. Great comparison! There similar but not complete dupes of one another. I own Invanka.

    1. Thank you! I'm glad I own them both, but I can see how other people wouldn't need to. :)

    2. Yes yes, I'm vaguely aware there are other colours besides purple out there. :D And this deep forest green is my 2nd most beloved one.

    3. What's your first most beloved one?

    4. A purple, duh! :D These really awesome shades from eggplant to plum purple, like Barry M Gelly Plum. If I were to wear only one polish for the rest of my life, I'd freak out! :D, but would stock up on this one.

    5. I thought you meant this green polish was your second favorite green polish, lol! Sorry!!! >.< And it sounds like I need to pick up Barry M Gelly Plum...

    6. Ah, no, I see the confusion here (my bad).
And I was gonna say "OK, I am nuts about polishes and all, but not *that* nuts to have faves within a colour group", but then I just LOL'd, because yes, yes I am. :D (and i guess this one (with golden flecks) would be the 2nd, then; first being plain creme forest/hunter/of-this-sort green)

  6. Thanks for a great comparison. I think both are nice but Logan is the winner in my opinion.
