Before & After (ish): Easiest Watermelon Nails Ever

(Press samples ahead!)

Hello!

Summer is pretty much here, and it's time for picnics and summer fun--including that most awesome of summer treats, watermelon! And I'm gonna show you how to make the easiest watermelon nails ever using UberChic Beauty plate 9-01.

I started with a base of Julep Karissa on my accent nails and China Glaze Watermelon Rind on the rest (that seemed fitting, somehow...):

Then I stamped my image from UberChic Beauty 9-01, with Messy Mansion Carbon, on my accent nails:

And while I think that's pretty awesome all on its own, I wanted to try adding a very cool glitter I picked up a while back (quite a while back!), Liquid Lacquer Dirty Watermelon:

Of course, you can use green stamping polish for the rind of the watermelon stamp to make it a little more realistic and fancy, but I love both of these looks, and the manicure is sooo easy. And clear stampers make it so easy to line up the edge of that rind so your stamping is perfect.

Which do you like better--with the glitter or without?

Happy stamping!

  2. Perfect! I like the glitter a lot but think I would prefer it on it's own and just leave the green with the watermelons! But that's only if I had to choose....looks great either way.

  3. I admit, I'm a bit shocked that I'm liking a Julep so much. That glitter is great though too.
