Spellbound Nails' Seven Deadly Sins Collection!

(Press samples and affiliate links ahead!)

Hello!

Are you feeling bad today? I hope so, 'cause we're going to look at a sinful collection today: Spellbound Nails Seven Deadly Sins Collection!

(Btw, how perfect is that for a collection inspired by the seven deadly sins to release around Halloween?!)

Spellbound Nails Seven Deadly Sins Collection

Let's jump right with Spellbound Nails Envy, a grass-green holo filled with gold holographic micro-shred glitters:

Coverage: two coats
Application and formula: Excellent

If this is what it means to be green with envy, sign me up. This looks like a pot of dollar bills and gold coins spilled over my nails, in the best possible way.

Next up, we have Spellbound Nails Gluttony, a pumpkin orange holo with gold holo micro-shred glitters:

Coverage: two coats
Application and formula: Excellent

Gluttony looks pumpkin orange in some lights, and more of a bright orange in others. It makes me want to eat tangerines while I'm carving my jack-o-lantern. Love.

Next we have Spellbound Nails Greed, a mustard yellow with gold holographic micro-shred glitters:

Application and formula: Excellent

This looks like fall leaves and light brown sugar to me. It's the perfect sort of fall yellow, with a smoky edge that takes it almost to caramel.

Then we have Spellbound Nails Lust, a navy blue holo with silver holographic micro-shred glitters:

This is denim and diamond, it's snowy night skies, it's deep, mysterious lakes. One of my absolute favorites of the collection.

Next we have Spellbound Nails Pride, a red-based wine holo with gold micro-shred glitters:

This is my absolute favorite from the collection--it's plum puddings and mulled wine, rich and elegant, with sexy sophistication. Completely stunning.

Then there's Spellbound Nails Sloth, a robin's egg blue holographic with silver holo micro-shred glitters:

Sloth has an icy coolness to it I can practically feel, like a snowstorm on a wintery afternoon.

And finally, we have Spellbound Nails Wrath, a cherry-red holo with gold holographic micro-shred glitters:

O. M. G., I love this polish! It's fiery and rich, the glitters inside like glowing embers. The perfect blood polish for your Halloween manis, and a gorgeous Christmas polish, too.

What do I think of the collection overall? If you're a holo lover, this collection does a good job of giving you a range of colors across the spectrum, that all play well together because they have the same holographic base. The quality is top-notch, application is effortless, and the theme is spooky fun.

Speaking of which...Since this is out at Halloween time, I decided to do a nail art series with these polishes that combine the themes of seven deadly sins with Halloween--for each polish I'll pick an iconic Halloween baddie that I think represents the sin in question. I'll be back with that soon...

In the meantime, this collection is on sale now in the Spellbound Nails shop, for $12.00 a bottle. And you can keep up with Spellbound Nails around the interwebs here:

Big hugs,
M. xoxo
