Today's prompt in the 31 Day Challenge is 'saran-wrap mani', which is a technique that I've completely fallen in love with. It's so fast, so easy, and so mistake-proof, which is exactly what I need. :)
'For this one I started with a base of Orly Rock-It, a magenta-red duochrome with bold color and orangy glass flecks, but a fairly gentle duochrome shift:

Next, I used the saran-wrap technique to sponge some Sally Hansen Orange Impulse over the base, to give a background color. Then I stamped using Konad black polish to stamp images from Konad plate S6 and plate QA21:
I am so happy with how this turned out! It reminds me of holidays in Chinatown with paper lanterns and strings of lights. I can almost see a dancing dragon coming down the street. And I really love how the sparkle of Rock-It contrasts with the creme finish of Orange Impulse. :)
Thanks for stopping by, and please check out the other saran-wrap manis linked below! :)
