Before & After: Winter Solstice

Hello!!

I am soooo sick...this cold virus going around is just horrible! Keep away from it at all costs...

This week's theme in my 'Let It Snow' Challenge is 'Winter Solstice'. I googled decorations for Winter Solstice, and they are very focused on snow, pine cuttings, and similar winter foliage. So I decided to go with that theme, minus any red to make it a bit special and different from Christmas manicures. :)

I started with an evergreen polish, Color Club's Rule Breaker:

Next I sponged some China Glaze White Cap in a drop-down gradient over the tips; over this color the white has a pretty gold shine to it. Then I stamped with China Glaze Passion, using the pine cones from Anna's plate W230:

I like the frosty winter feel it gives...I hope you do to. :)

Thanks for looking, and please check out the other Winter Solstice manicures linked below; back to bed for me. :)

    1. Thank you...yesterday was horrible, I slept most of the day. I felt better today, but ended up spending and hour and a half stranded out in the cold on the side of the freeway, so we'll see what tomorrow brings, lol!
