Review: Cheeky Jumbo Plate 7

(Purchased by me; affiliate links)

Hello!

Oh yes, I'm on a roll now! Here I am again with Cheeky Jumbo Plate 7, 'Home Sweet Home'. And I'll be back later in the wee hours with some nail art, because I get antsy when I'm not doing enough actual nail art! But for now, here is the next in the series of stamping plates...of course I have a video, for your viewing pleasure, should you choose to see the plate in that format:

As with the other plates I've already shown you, this one is 1/3 small images, and 2/3 full-nail designs. This one focuses on things related to home, home decor, and cozy homey things. Here are some close-ups of each image:

Smiley coffee cup--what a good idea!

That is the cutest snail ever...and the boy flying the kite is pretty cute, too. :)

That kitty image doesn't look any better when stamped...see the video for my test.

Another cute coffee cup...and I love that top hat and tie. :)

Sweets for my sweet...

Volkswagon Bug FTW!

Doggies and doggies and old-fashioned bicycles, oh my!

This bird cage image is one of my favorites on this plate

I love these coffee pots!!!

The home sweet home image is one of my favorites ever--such cute little houses!

I adore both of these images...the keys are so vintage and the birdhouses are so country-quaint :)

M is for Michelle, of course

Carrots are cool, but that leafy berry sprig image is so pretty...

Eggplants! What a great idea! Okay, enough of that horrible visual pun...

Those lillies are elegant, and it would be so easy to isolate one of them if you wanted to. :)

Bananas and tomatoes: both fruits. True story.

Lollipops and ice cream cones...there goes my diet...

Coffee beans--OMG, that is the best image EVER!!!!!!

Those cupcakes are smiling at me...cute or creepy? Only you can decide.

Another of my favorites--the 'tea time' word image is versatile, could be cute, could be elegant, it is what you make it, and I love it!

Garlic for your anti-vampire manicures

Very pretty leaf image :)

Scribble flowers, how cool is that!

Those coffee cups are so cute, nad I love how detailed those cupcakes are, so much you can do with the decal technique. :)

With that image, you can stamp like a sir

As you might be able to tell, this is one of my favorite plates. :) There are quite a number of these images that I'm really excited to use...and in fact I've actually made a coffee manicure using the beans and the coffee pots, hee hee hee.

This is the first place I experienced a semi-problem with. The kitty with the yarn image didn't seem clear to me, but sometimes when you stamp with an image like that, it will show up clearly in the stamped image. Unfortunately, this did not. It's not that it didn't stamp well--it's just not a well-drawn image. However, all of the other images on this plate that I tried out stamped well for me. The point is, if there is an image on here that you're hoping will look more clear when it stamps--it probably won't.

In terms of size, these images are the same size as other Cheeky Jumbo plates, including the alphabet plates. They are slightly bigger in height and width than the standard Konad-sized images, as you can see below:

Cheeky Jumbo Plate 7 vs. Konad
All in all, I love this plate despite the one yucky image, and I'm glad I have it. You can find these on Amazon; the price for an individual plate has gone up to $10.99, which is still an incredibly good price compared to over jumbo stamping plates. You can get them a bit cheaper if you purchase in bundles.

I hope you enjoyed the review, thanks for stopping by to have a look! Big hugs,
M.

    1. You're very welcome! There's nothing that sucks as much as thinking you're getting something, and the plate comes and it's different. :(
