Hello!
Today I have
Zoya's summer 2019 Barefoot collection to show you! Let's jump right in!
|
Zoya Barefoot Collection |
First up is
Zoya Bee, a soft banana creme:

Coverage: 2 coats
Formula: Patchy on the first coat, but this lessened with the second. I'd suggest fast, thin coats, as it's a little finicky.
I love having a soft yellow in my collection--it's such a cheerful color and it's far more wearable than brighter yellows (although that doesn't stop me!). This has a lovely country feel to it.
Next we have
Zoya Dacey, a bright bubble gum pink creme:

Formula: Good. I'd suggest fast, thin coats.
This is a solid girly pink for all your summer needs! Walks on the beach, brunches, if you're a pink lover, this one's gonna go the distance for you. :)
Next is
Zoya Dallas, a silver and white glitter topper in a clear base:

Coverage: I'm wearing one coat; you can add as much as you like.
Formula: This applied very easily and dried quickly.
This is a fun, versatile little glitter topper. It goes with just about everything and gives a polka-dot effect. I also think it looks like snowfall.
Then we have
Zoya Eleni, a pastel robin's egg blue creme:

Formula: Good.
Love this for a soft romantic look, and it would go so beautifully with Bee. Also a great base for nail art!
Next we have
Zoya Joey, a soft peach creme:

Coverage: 3 coats
Formula: I needed three coats to get rid of the patchiness on this one, which really bummed me out. I love the color so I had high hopes for this one.
This color is feminine and sweet! I just wish the formula was a little better.
Then we have
Zoya Kiera, a light brown with golden shimmer:

Formula: Excellent formula
This looks like a magical latte sent directly from heaven. The shade is universally flattering, and it's one of those special polishes that manages to give you a little special while being a lovely neutral appropriate for any sort of situation. LOVE.
Next up is
Zoya Liza, a smoked tomato creme:

Liza is sultry but dignified. This is an adult red, confident but quiet. A good solid basic for your polish wardrobe.

If Liza is dignified, Marcy will dance on top of tables. She's fun, she's hot, she's all the adventures you hope to have this summer. Can you tell this is another of my favorites?
Next we have
Zoya Rie, a medium magenta creme:

Formula: You might be able to get buy with one coat on this one if you don't have ridges like me.
Rie is such a happy, bright color, it's another one that's perfect for all sorts of summer fun.
Then we have
Zoya Robbie, a berry with orange-gold flecked shimmer:

Oh man, I love this so much. It's like a magical berry smoothie that someone laced with gold flakes. Possibly my favorite in the collection.

The soft shimmer to this makes it elegant and chic. Another universally flattering shade. Love, love, love.
And finally we have
Zoya Walker, a bright cerulean blue creme:

Coverage: 2 coats
Formula: Patchy on the first coat, but this lessened with the second. This looks patchier in the pictures than it did on my fingers for some reason--I didn't see any patches after the second coat.
This is the epitome of summer to me--it's bright skies and cool lakes, and it makes me just want to get outside and have a picnic. So pretty.
So there you have it, Zoya's Barefoot collection! These definitely aren't one-coat cremes, but other than that I think there are a lovely selection of colors to play with here, and some no-brainer shades everyone's gonna snap up. What do you think? Any favorites?
You can find this collection on sale now in
Zoya's store, and anywhere else that Zoya is sold. :)
Big hugs,
M. xoxo
