Hello!
Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and Incoco has released a love-ly collection (see what I did there?!) right on time: their Love Story Collection.
I have three of the eight different styles to show you up close and personal:
Blowing Kisses is an easy-as-pie Skittle manicure in a package. Almost each applique is different, but they are all similar and cohesive, so you can mix-and-match without any worries about how your nail art will turn out:

Hello Sweetheart is a sweet pink-and-silver glitter over a soft pink base; some of the glitters are holographic so they give and awesome flash:

One of the things I love about Incoco glitter appliques is that they remove soooo easily, none of the crazy mess you have to go through with glitter polish. All the look with none of the fuss.
And finally, here's the namesake of the collection, Love Story, a blend of soft roses and romantic script that's also perfect for making a fast skittle mani:

I also wanted to be sure to show you how well the colors go together; each have a dusty feel to them and you can use them together easily. I particularly love how well the glitter set goes with each of the other two:

For the 'Before' portion of today's manicure, I chose Love Story. As I was picking out which pattern to put where, I decided I wanted my ring finger to be covered completely with roses, but there wasn't one the right size. So I took one of the designs I wanted, placed the ring-finger-sized wrap over it, and trimmed around; this left me with a wrap the right size for my ring finger:

Then, I added some very, very fast bling to make it a little more special; I applied China Glaze Travel In Color with my smallest dotting tool to all of the roses on my middle fingers and thumbs, and one of the roses on my ring finger:

I finished up with a coat of Seche Vite; you don't have to wear topcoat with Incoco's nail appliques (notice how shiny the appliques are in the above pictures before the nail art), but when I add nail art, topcoat makes everything look smooth again. :)
These are now available on Incoco's website; while you're there, check out their very cool special effect glitter topper wraps, as well. :)
Hope your week is off to a great start!

I love the manicure you created, it's so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you! That topcoat was the perfect amount of pretty to liven it up but not overwhelm the designs. :)
DeleteWhat pretty designs for Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteThere's even more, too. My favorite in the whole collection is the glitter though--so much possibility!
DeleteThese are such a lovely idea for February and Valentine's Day. Girly and refined, without being too over the top!
ReplyDeleteYes, yes! Very feminine, but not uber-sappy or sentimental. A nice blend. :)
DeleteOoh those are pretty!
ReplyDeleteI nominated you for a Leibster Award! :) http://pinkiesforapenny.blogspot.com/2015/01/an-extra-post-leibster-award.html
Thank you so much! That's very sweet of you! I don't think I qualify, though. But I really appreciate the thought!! Kisses and hugs!! :)
DeleteThese are pretty and perfect for Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteAgreed--very well thought out. :)
DeleteThey are so pretty! I love the accents you added!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I had to add just a little something something, you know, cause that's how I roll. :)
DeleteI always love nail strips! They're perfect for people lazy with nail art but want to wear it! Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteYes yes yes!!! I have become addicted to them for times when I have very little time but need my nails to look nice. Literally 10 minutes at most from start to out the door. :)
DeleteI love this soooo much!
ReplyDeleteAwww, thank you!! :)
DeleteThis is so beautiful!! I would be worried that my Seche would wrinkle a wrap, my Seche wrinkles everything LOL. Nice to know it doesn't :)
ReplyDeleteAh! You should read my Seche review where I talk about why Seche shrinks stuff and how to avoid it! Check it out here: http://lacquerorleaveher.blogspot.com/2015/01/review-live-love-polish-seche-coral.html The same thing is true with wraps. Just leave them on for a few minutes to let them set before you Seche them. :)
DeleteThis is very pretty :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, so much!!
DeleteUgh, so pretty! ♥ One would expect this to be too cheesy and girly, but it's really not! Love the addition of that CG on the roses.
ReplyDeleteEspecially from me, since I don't normally lean to flowers and pink! But I like this shade, and a little bling makes everything better. :)
DeleteBeautiful. I loved these appliques and want to try
ReplyDeleteThey're my favorite brand that I've tried. :)
DeleteI love how these are so delicate and feminine without being obnoxious! I abhor Valentine's manis but might wear this one hahaha!
ReplyDeleteYes!! I'm right there with you. I don't like anything over-the-top sweet in a typical Valentine's mode. This collection walks a perfect line for me. Sweet, but not too sweet. :)
DeleteVery pretty, I have some incoco wraps that ive had forever I always forget to use them. :/
ReplyDeleteNext time you're in a hurry, pull them out!
DeleteLoving all the designs from this Valentines special collection of Incoco Nail wraps. Loved the way you designed mani with them.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I wore this one for four days! :)
DeleteGreat idea to accent them! They look great, so smooth!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!! :)
DeleteI love them, but I love them so much more after you added the glitter! Smart move!
ReplyDeleteThank you! You know I gotta throw on my personal touch, lol! ;-)
DeleteI really like those Love Story wraps, they are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThey are--and fun to play with. :)
DeleteGreat idea for wearing glitter without the hassle! And they look great on you!
ReplyDeleteThank you! That's one of my favorite things about Incoco nail wraps.
Deletei've never heard of these before! Where have I been. I really like them though and they look fantastic on you.
ReplyDeleteGlad I could enable you, lol! And thanks so much. :)
Deletewow love these wraps.. such a pretty mani!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! :)
DeleteThese are super pretty, especially after you added the CG. I loved the tip about using the smaller wrap as a template for the larger one; that's something I'll have to remember!
ReplyDeleteI hate throwing anything away, lol, so this way I get as much use as possible out of the wraps. :)
Delete(☆_☆) glamovision
ReplyDeleteHee hee hee, love that!!
DeleteI love this look. So soft and girly :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think this set has a universal appeal. :)
