How's it going? We have a little break of gorgeous 70 degree weather here for a few days, so it's feeling like spring...I need to get out into the garden and get some work done!
Anyway, the thing is, if you have a case of the winter doldrums, boy do I have the thing for you--we're gonna take a look at some gorgeous, sparkly, happy polishes from the Glam Polish Age of Resistance Collection, which I guarantee will lift your mood. Application and formula: Easy application, excellent dry time
Maker description: Glam Polish Circle of the Suns is a pale pink crelly with iridescent flakes, ultra holo glitter, and holo microglitter.
My take: This is soft and feminine and captures the colors of Easter for me in a way that's grown-up and subtle. No, this polish isn't inspired by Easter, but given the time of year, that's where my mind flew! It's like the most gorgeous fire opal painted directly onto your nails.

Application and formula: Easy application, excellent dry time
Description: Glam Polish Eye to the Stars is a holo base polish with shifting multichrome flakies and metallic purple glitter.
My take: Again possibly due to the time of year, but when I look at this, I see mardi gras in a bottle! It's like a gorgeous mardi gras parade with confetti and beads flying through the air every which way. It's fun and flirty, and screams let the good times roll.

Description: Glam Polish Fires of Rebellion is a forest green with aurora shimmer and ultra holo glitter.
My take: This is my absolute favorite of the collection! I loved it from the second I unwrapped it. Since I seem to have started a holiday/seasonal theme inadvertently, this one would have to be St. Patrick's day--but a rich, sophisticated St. Patrick's day, like if you had to go to a gorgeous formal after-opera party on St. Patrick's day, this is the color of the gown you'd want to wear. Shimmery to the point of duochrome-y, with just the right spray of glitter. Stunning.

Description: Glam Polish Lords of the Crystal is a dark purple crelly with shifting multichrome flakies and ultra holo glitter.
My take: I've decided that dark wine purple and copper are one of my favorite color combinations (is one of my favorite color combinations?) and this is so packed with flakies it makes my nails feel gilded. I love it. Definitely a favorite of mine from the collection.

Description: Glam Polish Mother Aughra is a gray-purple crelly with iridesent flakies and ultra holo glitter.
My take: If a goth girl decided to dress up for Easter, this is what she'd choose. I love the seasonal pastels shining through the purple-gray base--it's a smoky and elegant way to capture spring colors. I also feel like this is sort of the dark to Circle of the Suns' light, and now I want to see how those two polishes play together...
Overall, I love these pretties, there's a little flash and glamour here for whatever mood you're in, whether it's subtle and soft or bright and happy, or a little on the dark side.
