Hello!
Just a quick post to let you know that I found a bunch of LA Colors polishes at Dollar Tree today:
If you have a Dollar Tree nearby, check it out! If you haven't tried these yet, you should consider it. When I swatched them on my color wheels, the colors were as nice as they looked in the bottle and the formula seemed good. I haven't worn them on my nails yet, but I checked with some polish-aholics and they confirmed they are solid cheap polishes. The only downside I've seen so far is two of the ones I got have slightly wonky brushes, but not too bad, and the other ones are just fine. I'll update if I have any problems when I wear them. Not sure how often or how long these show up, so I thought I'd post about them quickly! I'm always looking for an inexpensive way to get a variety of polishes to play with. :)
Thanks for stopping by,
M. :)
I like L A Colors, and I haven't had any with wonky brushes :D
ReplyDeleteWhen I say 'wonky' I mean only slightly wonky--the kind where I can rotate them a bit and find a way to use them that isn't bad at all. Not like some other wonky brushes I've had that I can barely use no matter what I do! Thanks for letting me know, sounds like I just got a couple of strange ones. :)
DeleteThe colors are great, but they only lasted 3-4 days on my finger nails. I used a base coat and a top coat. My nails were also stained by the darker colors. 2 weeks on my toe nails as of tomorrow, time to repolish.
ReplyDeleteYuck--thanks for letting me know. When I use the blues (I got a purple too that escaped the picture somehow, lol) I'll make sure to use two coats of base. :) My favorite color of the ones I got is Tahitian Sunrise--so pretty!
DeleteVery pretty colours :)
ReplyDeleteI was really surprised by them, thought for sure that once out of the bottle they'd be dull and gross--I mean, for a dollar? But they aren't! Can't wait to try them out for a couple of challenge manis over the next few days...:)
