Before & After: Welcome Fall

(Nothing to disclose)

Hello!!

Ah, fall. I love this time of year, even if it doesn't quite feel like fall here yet...temps are still in the 80s and there's no sign of it stopping soon.

But that's okay. It's fall in my heart. So I've decided to welcome it with this mani.

I started with a base of Misa Eye Candy; you might remember I told you a while back about a collection of Misa polishes that have rich, saturated colors with a wax/satin finish? Well this is another of those polishes, with in a fiery reddish-orange shimmer:

Then, I did a double-stamp over three of the nails using the leafy tree portion of MoYou London Mother Nature 05 (aka Landscape back in the day); first I stamped with Sally Hansen I-rush Luck, and then with Lickety-Split Lime:

Hey Purple Rain! This thumb's for you!

This is one of my favorite manicures I've done in a long time, I lover how vibrant the base is and how the stamping polishes play off of this. I wish I had a skirt this color with this design going across the bottom! It's such a perfect fall look, and I love the depth created by the two layers of stamping. I don't know how I'm going to bear to take it off, honestly. ::pouts::

So what do you think? Are you ready for fall?

Hugs,
M.

    1. You could totally do it, you just need the equipment for the nail stamping. Ah, Barbados...you come here for a couple of weeks and I'll go there, lol :P

    1. Thank you! It's not as hard as you think. It's nail stamping, so you just need the equipment, no talent--that's why I can do it, lol. :)

  9. This colour is so perfect! I love it. It looks almost matte? Really lovely - not sure how I'd feel about green on my nails though! :)

    1. Yes, the base polish is a matte polish. It's some of the coolest matte polish I've seen, there are several colors in the collection and they have shimmer despite the matte finish--I love it!

    1. They're nail stamping plates; they're metal plates etched with designs in them. You put polish over the designs, scrap the excess away, then use a stamper to pick up the design and put it on your nail. I love it!! These are from MoYou London (Mother Nature collection 05) , one of my favorite companies for nail plates. :)
