Two 4th of July looks from Incoco :)

(Press samples and affiliate links ahead!)

Hello!

Happy Birthday, United States of America!!

If your day tomorrow is anything like mine, you aren't going to have time to do a mani--my life has been like that since Saturday. So I thought this would be a good opportunity to show you two manis using Incoco wraps that you can pick up on your way wherever you're going today from Walmart, and put on in the car while your significant other is driving, hehe. ;-)

Here's Incoco Showstopper, which I wore this weekend when I had to spend a ton of time prepping for a barbeque:

And here's Incoco Freedom Glitz, which I threw on yesterday because I knew I wouldn't have time today to do my nails:

Okay, don't laugh at me, but...Can I just admit that wearing these makes me feel like Wonder Woman?!

While these are great looks for 4th of July, of course they're great for Brits, too, or anyone else with a similar flag--or just wants to feel like Wonder Woman for a few days. ;-) You can find Incoco's Coconut wraps at Walmart. Happy 4th of July if you celebrate it--and stay safe!

Big hugs,
M. xoxo

Selections from Incoco's Coconut Collection

(Press samples and affiliate links ahead!)

Hello!

How ya doing? I just got done binge watching season one of World of Dance while doing manicures. I so wish I could dance...sigh...

Anyway, today I have five selections from Incoco's Coconut Collection to show you. What's their Coconut collection, you ask? Well, Incoco has sort of reorganized...you can buy their original brand through Ulta Beauty, you can buy the Coconut line from Walmart, or you can go through an independent stylist to buy from their Color Street line--you can't buy directly from their website anymore. So, let's take a look at a few of the Coconut offerings...

Selections from Incoco's Coconut Collection

The Coconut sets are a little smaller than the other sets Incoco makes (12 vs. 16 wraps). This means that you have fewer size alternatives. In my case, they sizes work just fine for me. But, if they don't work for you, they're extremely easy to cut down to size, and I have a video tutorial (below) to show you just how easy it is. The sets come with instructions, a nail file, and an orange stick:

So first up, we ave Sweet Style:

Incoco Sweet Style

Roses, polka dots and stripes on a shimmer background--these are classic mainstays of nail art that never go out of style. And if you use my sizing trick (in the tutorial below), you can get more versatility to mix and match them however you want.

Next, we have Steal The Show:

Incoco Steal The Show

This is a copper-brown and black leopard print on a gold shimmer background. Animal prints are another nail-art stand-by, so these wraps are an easy way to get the look quickly and easily.

Next up is Less is More, a sleek, elegant beige creme wrap with a minimal linear design:

Incoco Less Is More

Incoco Less Is More

This is a great neutral look for when you want a little art, but not much--very appropriate for work, very appropriate for when you meet the potential in-laws for the first time out on their boat in the Hamptons. Okay, so that's not a scenario I'm ever gonna face, but that doesn't mean my nails can't look like I will.

You all know me well enough to know that if you give me something that can be stamped, I'm gonna stamp it:

For this look I used Mani Defender (latex cuticle barrier) to mask off part of the design, and then stamped UberChic Beauty 25-02 and Kaleidoscope Black. Simple, fast, and if I do say so myself, kinda cute.

Then we have Trendsetter, another linear design, this time on a pale blue creme background:

I chose to go vertical and horizontal on my two middle fingers, and diagonal on the others, but of course you can combine them however you want for your own overall look. This has a Breakfast-at-Tiffany's-meets-Mondrian sort of feel that I really like.

And finally we have Right This Way, a mint shimmer with a scatter of gray arrows:

Incoco Right This Way

This is my favorite set of the group--the color is soft and feminine and the arrows are hip and a little bohemian.

But...again...if you give me a chance, you know I'm gonna stamp on it...:

I used Dixie Plates Lines 01 and Hit The Bottle Polish Pool Party to stamp a little extra bling on it. What do you think? I love the Santa Fe feel the added stamping gives.

I love doing my own nail art from scratch, obviously--that's why I have a nail art blog. But I've always loved Incoco wraps. I don't always have time to do a mani when I need to, especially during vacations and holidays, and I can always grab a set of wraps and throw them on quickly, but still have a cute look. I've also been known to mix-and-match sets, or just pull out a couple one or two for accent nails.

I've tried A LOT of different nail wraps, and Incoco are my favorite. They apply easily, they remove easily, and they really to wear for a long time. Here's a video tutorial to show you how I apply them, for a super cute mani in no time flat:

You can find Incoco's Coconut Collection at Walmart, and their other sets at Ulta Beauty.

Review: Selections from Incoco's Ever After & Sparkle On collections!

(Press samples ahead!)

Hello!

I'm in love with the selections I have to show you from two Incoco collections today--the Ever After collection because it's soooo art deco, and the Sparkle On collection because it's the easiest way to get good glitter looks I know. Let's jump in!

Here are the two selections I received from the Ever After collection. Gatsby is a bold, linear art deco black-on-yellow-gold pattern that makes my heart sing:

What I love best about this set is the mix-and-match potential. If you're in the mood for something more sleek, you can stick more with the thick lines and the diamonds in the center, but if you want something more intricate, you can use more of the ones that have more decoration to them (don't forget you can easily cut down the bigger ones to fit whichever nail you want):

If you're looking for something a little softer, try Incoco Magic Spell, which features black swirls on a champagne gold background:

As you can see, I had a little difficulty getting this one to lie flat, which is unusual. I think there may have been a small puncture in the package that made them a little less flexible. I do love the design, however!

The Sparkle On collection features glitter wraps--and I love Incoco's glitter wraps because they are sooooooo easy to remove, no need for the foil technique or anything.

Incoco Eye Candy has a clear base with gold glitter, which makes it awesomely versatile:

Because glitter over nekkid nails is on trend right now, I tried them out that way first:

But of course the coolest part is you can put these over any base polish you want; here it is over Zoya Lacey:

And I also love the bare look paired with an accent nail:

And finally, we have Incoco Sparkle On, the namesake from the Sparkle On collection, a gold glitter over a black base:

Take a look at how gorgeous these look on:

And of course you know I had to pair this with Gatsby:

I'm always very impressed with Incoco's appliques. I've tried other wraps, but these are the only ones I'd spend my own money on, by far. And, here's a little secret tip...ssshhh...whenever I get too much splitting on my right-hand nails (no idea why it only happens on one hand), I'll wear wraps for a week or two while the nails grow out a bit. Not sure why, but they seem to protect better than regular polish. So if you're a non-gel girl like me, check them out for that!

You can find Incoco wraps in their store here, and you can follow them around the interwebs here:

Happy wrapping!

Review: Selections from Incoco's Sweet On You collection

(Press samples ahead!)

Hello!

Incoco sent me a couple of selections from their Sweet On You collection, a seasonal collection that I think has lots of versatility beyond just Valentine's Day. For example, check out the soft lace look of Date Night:

Lace designs can be tricky--they can so easily go tacky, especially colored lace. But this design is soft, with just enough of an intricate flowered pattern to compliment the softer pink base. Beautiful.

I also received Dear Diary, a fun set of hearts and script in black over glitzy gold glitter, and the Sweet On You accent nails set:

My husband isn't the only love of my life--my furbabies are a close second (depending on the day, it might even be a tie...), so I was delighted to see that the accent nail set for this collection features two little kitties! So excited, in fact, that I put together two combos with the Dear Diary set and the Sweet On You accent nails. For the first, I wanted to show off the heart side of the accent nail set as well as the kitty side:

And for the second, I indulged myself with lots of kitties:

Which do yo prefer? I'm not gonna lie, the more kitties the better, as far as I'm concerned. :)

Incoco appliques have no match as far as I'm concerned--I've tried a lot of nail wraps, and these are by far the easiest to apply, and the best quality. For tips on how to apply them, check out my video tutorial here.

You can find these and other beauties from the Sweet On You collection on sale now in Incoco's store, and don't forget to follow them via social media:

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope your day is filled to the brim giving and receiving love. :)
