Wikkid Stamping Polishes

Hello!

Wow, has it been a cold weekend pretty much all over the country! I hope you're nice and warm today wherever you are!

Today we're gonna take a look at four stamping polishes from Wikkid Polish--I've tried their regular polishes before (very nice!), but this is my first time testing out their stamping polishes.

I did a video review if you'd like to see them in motion:

Here are the four polishes I tested out:

Wikkid Polish Satin Blue

Here are the test swatches I did for each polish:

Wikkid Polish Satin Blue, Pine Green, Claret, and Fuchsia Red

The polishes were all opaque, with good formula that spread and picked up well. They stamped boldly over white, although the results over black were not as good. As you can see, the Satin Blue showed up a little over black, and in real life, the Fuchsia Red actually does show okay over the black. The other two didn't really show up at all, so make sure to test over dark colors before you do you mani to be sure you'll get enough color showing through. :)

UberChic Beauty Collection 28

Hello!

So, I've had a busy couple of weeks...I just finished going over the copyedit for my book, the one that's going to come out in May, and then also submitted the first draft of my second book to my publisher! I've been working around the clock to get it all done, and it's nice to have a break to play with some nail art. :)

Today we're going to take a look at UberChic Beauty's most recent collection, Collection 28, so let's jump right in with the video review:

Here are some test swatches I did--I'd clearly had far too much caffeine, and had more than my fair share of oopsies...

On to the manis! I just had to play with the layering flowers for the first one:

Lantern & Wren's #AllTheHearts Plate

Hello!

Today I have another new plate from Lantern & Wren to show you: the Lantern & Wren #AllTheHearts plate, right in time for the run-up to Valentine's day. :)

As with her other plates, she's packed in a ton of images, and gives a nice variety that run the gauntlet from cute to elegant.

I LOVE the way that bohemian lace image looks over that smoosh...sigh...

Okay, on to the manis! I had to use that bohemian lace image again, but this time wanted to try some non-Valentine colors:

I chose blue stamping polish to pull out the shimmer in the base polish, and I love how it came out. :)

I love how simple but effective this look is. :)

Lantern & Wren Most Wonderful Time Plate!

Today I have another new Lantern & Wren plate to show you--her Most Wonderful Time plate, which was included in her advent calendar, and is now available to buy in her store.

Now on to the manis! One of my favorite images on this plate is the poinsettia image, so I started off with that:

More holiday manis featuring Dixies Plates Christmas 2018 plate

A few days ago I showed you Dixie Plates three holiday plates, and I'm back today to show you more manis I did with the plates. Let's jump right in!

My first mani I like to call Christmas Eve in Santa's Workshop:

Everybody's going a little crazy--the elves are running around trying to get the presents together, and the reindeer are trying to get ready for their flight--and Santa's nowhere to be found! He probably went out to get some Starbucks to keep him awake for the journey. This manicure uses:

Lantern & Wren's Joy To The World Plate

Lantern & Wren just released another new plate, this one with a holiday theme, their Joy To The World Plate! Here's the video review I did of the plate:

Lots of fun seasonal images here, including a few layering images, and a whole fleet of rein-animals! My personal favorite? That starburst in the second row. :)

Now on to the manis! For the first, I started with a base of Spellbound Nails I Must Not Tell Lies, and tamped with Messy Mansion Forest and Red-y Or Not:

For the next one, I wanted to go sophisticated and elegant. I started with a base of Stella Chroma's limited edition holiday duo (still available1), Stella Chroma Rose Til Champagne and Merlot Ho Ho Ho:
