NOTD: July 4th manicure (or, Happy Birthday America!!)

Hello!!

Today is July 4th, and the challenge in my group for today is a July 4th theme, so of course today's post is dedicated to my July 4th mani. It's pretty basic--to quote Scrangie, there are many like it, but this one is mine. And I love it. :)

The two base polishes I used are from the China Glaze On Safari collection--Adventure Red-y and Man Hunt. I stamped over them using Konad white, Mash plate Mash-49 and Cheeky plate CH04:

The blue and red from this collection are perfect for an American-flag look, I couldn't resist using them. I just had a fellow bbq-er ask me 'Where did you get your nails?' which I took as a great compliment--if they look good enough to be 'gotten' somewhere, I must have done a half-way decent job. :)

I hope everyone has a fun and safe July 4th, full of good food and drink, whether you're American or not!!

Thanks for reading, and please check out the other July 4th manicures submitted to the challenge, shown below. :)

  1. These nails are fantastic! It's nice to see some variation in the style with wiggly lines instead of straight candy stripes!

    1. Thank you so much! I'm positive I stole the idea from someone, I'm just not sure where...>.<
