Review: Born Pretty Store clear stamper and plate BP-83

(Press sample)

Hello!

Have you seen the clear stampers at Born Pretty Store and wondered how good they are? Well, I'm back today to test one out for you, using Born Pretty Store plate BP-83.

To show you right, I did a video test:

But I also took some pics to show you how well it works. The stamper comes with a scraper:

I always recommend that if a stamper comes with a scraper, you give it a try--usually they're together for a reason and sometimes the scraper you use can make all the difference.

The head on this stamper is very flexible; not marshmallow squishy, but definitely squishy enough to push your nail fully into it so you don't have to worry about rolling:

You can see in the second picture that I can press my entire nail into the head with no problem--and my nails are pretty darn curvy, so that's not small feat.

The head is perfectly transparent, so I had no problem seeing through it:

To test it out, I used Born Pretty Store plate BP-83, which came in a cool little envelope and has lots of pretty flower designs for spring:

I had a design on the tip of my nail, so I wanted to be able to align the flowers perfectly above the pre-existing design:

You can see that the stamper allowed me to put the flowers exactly where I wanted them--and look at how top-notch that image is!

  9. So, you've answered all the questions I had in mind! I love the fact it doesn't require any priming. I'm sure I'll give it a go, maybe it's time for me to start placing pattern the right way on the nail XD

  11. I'm so upset with this BP clear stamper. It's just not picking up for me. Also what are you using to clean it with? Any suggestions please?

    1. First, sorry for the late reply to this, it went to a default folder! Try scraping very gently, and use a very gentle rolling motion to pick up. Also, you cna try washing the head with soapy dishwater, and let it air dry. I hope something there helps!!
