Review: daniPro Infused Nail Polishes

(Press samples and affiliate links** ahead!)

Hello!

I was recently contacted to review a new polish in a new line of nail polish, daniPro Infused Nail Polish. I was intrigued, particularly by the 'infused' part--while the line is designed for manis and pedis, it's particularly useful for pedicures, because it's infused with Undecylenic Acid, which helps your little toesies from picking up nasty fungi (important point--it won't get rid of them if you already have them, but it makes it less likely you'll get them, apparently). I'm down with anything that can keep my feet looking their best, so I had her send 'em on over for testing.

I received three colored polishes and their Clear Topcover topcoat to review; I'll show you each of the colors topped with the topcoat and then discuss the topcoat separately after.

First up is daniPro Forever Girl Perfect Pink, a soft baby pink creme:

This is three thin coats. The formula was thick, and I had some difficulty with application, some pulling and unevenness, even when I went with thinner coats. However, I don't think it would have bothered me for a pedicure polish, and I do think the color is sweet if you like pinks.

Next is daniPro My Girl Pure Pink, a hotter pink creme for those days when you're feeling more daring:

I had the same issue with formula and application with this polish as I did with Forever Girl; I don't think this would be a problem if I were using this for a pedicure, but it's a little more patchy than I'd normally wear on my fingers. The color is very fun and summery, and I can see wearing this for my tropical vacation pedicure no problem when I finally get to go on one again! ;-)

Finally we have daniPro First Kiss Red, a sexy cherry creme:

I had zero problems with the formula on this one--the consistency was excellent and went on smooth as silk. That suggests to me that there's something going on with the pink that isn't an issue with the other colors (or some of them, at least). This is a gorgeous shade of red, a great-for-summer-on-through-Christmas red. I love it.

Oh, and here's a little secret--I keep my toenails red only except for special occasions--I know, that's like nail blogger sacrilege to stick with one color, but there you go. Because I really like the idea of the fungus-fighting chemical in these polishes, I'll be using this as my permanent pedi color from now on. :)

So what about that topcoat? I was also very pleased with how that performed. Within about 1-2 minutes, I was surface smudge safe--meaning, if I gently rubbed across it or some such, I was fine. Within about 5 minutes, I was safe for basic activities--meaning, if my nail banged into the side of something with a normal about of accidental force, it would have probably been fine. I don't think I would have felt safe crawling into bed and letting my sheets press against it for at least an hour, but then again, I wouldn't do that with my Seche Vite, and you all know that's my nail Kevlar. I can definitely see using this again in the future, and I'm going to try my hand at making decals with it.

So, what do I think overall? I'd be cool with all three of these polishes for my pedicure especially given the fungus-fighting properties, and I'll definitely use the red again for manicures and nail art. The topcoat was solid and fast-drying, and since it's also infused, I'll be using it for the occasions when I wear a different polish as my pedicure color. If you like the idea of extra protection against foot fungus, I think this is a line to consider, and I'd definitely be willing to try out other colors in the collection.

daniPro is also 5-free, and does no animal testing. :)

You can buy daniPro directly from their online store; the polishes are also available on Amazon if that's more convenient for you. You can follow daniPro on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Happy fungus-free polishing!

  2. Great for people who likes to have nice nails and go to gyms often. That's a big selling point I am sure. Like, who doesn't ensure they have a nice pedi before hitting the gym ?.. I know i do.

    Great swatches
