I've been in a whimsical mood lately, so wanted to do a whimsical manicure for you...As you know, I've been feeling beachy polishes lately, so I pulled out Frenzy Polish's Seafoam again:

I used an image from Messy Mansion's Symetrika 05 for background texture, and stamped it with Sally Hansen's Mint Sprint:

And then since I was feeling a little quirky and steampunky, I added the octopus from Messy Mansion MM43, using Messy Mansion Chalk:
And here's how it came out!

I love this so much! The texture creates such a cool effect and the octopus guy is jaunty and has just enough attitude. Btw, bonus points to anyone who can clue me in to why octopi are such a big thing in steampunk culture...I love it, but don't know how it started!
Happy Stamping,
M.
Tophat-octopus wins the day.
ReplyDeleteDamn straight! ;-)

ReplyDeleteThank you so much! :)
DeleteSome super fun stamping and that octopus is so cute.
ReplyDeleteIsn't he the awesomest?!
DeleteDoes that octopus seriously have a top hat?! I was blown away by that Frenzy base you used. Seafoam is stunning. But the octopus stole the show for me!
ReplyDeleteRight?!? Octopus + tophat = awesome!!! :)
DeleteSo cute! I love Messy Mansion plates.
ReplyDeleteMe too--they have really cool designs. :)
