Calling all Harry Potter Fans!
I recently reviewed Spellbound Nails' Harry Potter Book 3 collection, which released July 31st. There are some gorgeous polishes in that collection, but the standout to me by far is Dementor, so I had to do some nail art with it in honor of the collection drop!
Take a look at the holo + glitter awesome-bomb that is Dementor:
I wanted to do something that celebrated the book, but that also kept that awesome holo goodness shining through, so I decided to do my play on a dementor's kiss--if you don't know what that is, the dementors are ghost-like-wraith-demons that suck out your soul, and that's called a dementor's kiss. So I stamped using the rope-like image from UberChic Beauty 10-02 and Messy Mansion Sterling to represent the thread of the soul being sucked out, and for the lips, I used Bundle Monster BM02 with Hit The Bottle Polish Pool Party (also available at Beautometry):

What do you think? I think it came out deliciously creepy. And maybe a little sexier than an actual dementor's kiss, but that's okay, right?! I love how the navy glitters peek out enough to play with the blue lips and I love how the threads are enough to tell the story, but leave plenty of glint and glimmer showing. :)
You can purchase the Harry Potter Book 3 collection now in the Spellbound Nails store! :)
Happy stamping, and watch your back for dementors...
