Hello!!
Today is one of those days when I have a deeply special polish to show you. This is I <3 NP Mutagen, one of their gorgeous new multichrome polishes; this particular one is green, blue, and purple, and even some rose gold. Here are a ridiculous number of photos, to show you all the beautiful shifts:
Something about this said Halloween to me, probably the strong purples and greens, so I decided to do a Halloween manicure with it--this was actually one of the first ones I did this year, in anticipation of the prompt theme for today, which is 'Graveyard'.
I saw a different Halloween manicure that did a cool shadow stamp technique, so I decided to try it out myself. I first stamped my tombstones with Sally Hansen Orange Impulse, and then stamped over it again with Konad white (the image is from Bunny Nails, HD03, and she has a slightly smaller version on her new plates):

These pictures can't capture how cool the shadow stamping looked against the multichrome in motion--I wish I'd taken a video of it. But you can see how well the colors work together, and how great this polish is for a Halloween mani. :)
Don't forget to check out the other graveyard manis below, when they get linked up. :)
Hugs and loves,
M.

ReplyDeleteThank you thank you! Yes, all of those multichromes are just stunning...::drools::
DeleteSuch a gorgeous color! Love the graveyard design too :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! :) I only own 2 of those polishes, someday I'll get my hands on the rest of the collection...sigh...
DeleteOh wow Michelle!!! You are and always will be my stamping guru, can't believe how well you lined the double images up!!! Fantastic job, they are so 3-D and just jump right out at you! <3 <3 :)
ReplyDeleteOkay. I'll give you stamping lessons and you give me drawing lessons and then nobody will be able to stop our greatness!!! Muah hah haaaaahhhh!!!

ReplyDeleteTank you tank you!!
DeleteI can only imagine how ridiculously cool this must look irl because it looks ridiculously cool in your photos... you are the queen of the awesome Halloween mani and I think this might be my favorite of yours this year (which is saying a lot). Your stamping is, again, impeccable and that I♥NP is just out of this world awesome on its own but adds so much spooky depth to the graveyard design. You're a genius, I tell you. A genius!
ReplyDeleteAwww, thank you! I am now blushing, lol. I'm glad you're enjoying the Halloween manis, I have such a blast making them, I love Halloween almost as much as Christmas...sigh...
DeleteGreat base color and the two layers of stamping is amazing, so well done on the lining up. It is very 3D. Just argh!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I had a request for a tutorial, so I'll be putting one up soon. :)
