Hello!
Today's my final mani in the "My Home" Digit-al Dozen theme for this month! So far I've shown you a little bit about how my house is decorated, and I introduced you to my cabal of wee beasties. Today's manicure features the intersection of the two...
This mani may take a little explaining...so let's take a look at this shot, first:
Bunny Nails HD-F, UberChic Beauty Holiday Jingle, over Spellbound Nails Beauxbatons |
This mani features a shot of my Christmas tree on its side, lying on the floor. The lights strings have been yanked off the top, and the ornaments are rolling all over the floor. I wonder how that happened...Maybe the thumb shot will reveal more:
Bunny Nails HD-F, UberChic Beauty Holiday Jingle, and Marianne Nails N. 20 over Spellbound Nails Beauxbatons |
Oh no! Two of my little destruct-o-trons are high-fiving amid the chaos!! Darn you, kittieeeees!!
To make the For this mani, I started with Spellbound Nails' Beauxbatons, and then stamped repeatedly with the pine sprig image from Bunny Nails HD-F, with Messy Mansion Forest. Then I stamped the lights and the ornaments with UberChic Beauty's Holiday Jingle plate, with Messy Mansion Red-y Or Not, Misty Jade, and Sterling. Then I colored in the lights with Spellbound Nails Rockets' Red Glare and Twilight's Last Gleaming. I stamped the cats with Marianne nails N. 20, and Messy Mansion Carbon.
What do you think? Do you have pets, and do they like to contribute their own special touch to your holiday decorating?
Happy stamping, and don't forget to check out the other ladies' manis, linked below.
Happy stamping!
M. xoxo
It looks great!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! :)
DeleteSee, this is why I adore you so much! :) Your storytelling, the effort and attention you put into your creations, plot twists like this.. hilarious mani!
ReplyDeleteAww...you completely made my day. :) I've had lots of fun with this theme, and this mani in particular. :)
DeleteThis isn’t such a fun mani! Probably not fun in real life! Ha! Our dog is pretty good about leaving everything alone! Although she thinks one of the tree skirts is her blanket so she keeps going and tryin to rearrange it so she can make her “pillow” and lay down! Lol!😂
ReplyDeleteHehehehe...I have one kitty that does that. Luckily for me the dog leaves the tree alone--but she knows the cats aren't supposed to be in it, so when they go for it, she goes for them, to chase them out, and it rapidly turns into a scene from Christmas Vacation! ;-)
DeleteLOL! Cabal of wee beasties. I cracked up! This is adorable, funny and sorry that your wee beasties cause such a ruckus. For some reasons ours have never been interested in the tree. LOL.
ReplyDeleteHehehe...;-) Our last cats weren't interested in the tree, so we got spoiled. We mostly solved the problem by getting all plastic ornaments, and the nice ones stay in the garage. We figured as the cats got older they'd get over attacking the tree, and we could pull them back out. They're 7 now, and it's not as bad as it was, but still...And I wouldn't change a bit of it. :)
DeleteHigh fiving kitties, hahahaha so cool! And I love a Christmas tree design on a blue background, very freshly festive! And the fact that it has fallen cracks me up this is the funniest Christmas design ever :D
ReplyDeleteI love this. I knew as soon as I saw it cats were involved.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to wrap up the challenges this month!! The high five between kitties is just the best!! Great and funny post, Michelle! Every nail is absolutely perfect in telling the tree toppling story. Hope you and all of your destruct-o-trons have a very Merry Christmas!
