Hello!
So what does a girl who doesn't like pink do on freestyle pink challenge day?
She turns the typically girly color into something lusciously dark--SKULLS. Yeah, baby!!!
Here is what I came up with, muah hah hahhhh:
The base color here is Orly's Androgynie...When I put it on this time, I got very little hex glitter, so I figured I might as well stamp on it, and thought it would be perfect for this. I have found out since that it is a good idea to store Androgynie upside down so that the glitter doesn't accumulate at the bottom. I might start doing this will all my chunky glitters just to be sure.
I stamped this using Drikk plate Drk-A, and Sinful Colors' Dancing Nails. I added two heart-shaped rhinestones to amplify the heart-shaped eye sockets on ring finger skulls. It kinda makes her look like a crazy cartoon skull that has fallen in love...you know those cartoon 'hubba-hubba' eyes?? :)
So, you might ask...after doing several challenges with pink, am I starting to like pink more? Well, I guess if you really push me to think about it and answer honestly...the answer is...
...No.
But I am willing to keep an open mind and keep trying it out! In fact, I bought my third bottle of semi-pink yesterday, Spoiled's Shrimp On The Barbie (which has coral flecks in it). And you know I'm proud to rock my cute skulls!
Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to check out the other bloggers who participated in the challenge, shown below. :)

ReplyDeleteThanks so much! That Drk-A rocks. :)
DeleteThose little heart eyes made me giggle. :)
ReplyDeleteOh good, that means I'm not crazy, cause they make me giggle too! Okay, well, that doesn't completely rule out me being crazy, but let's not go there...=)
