NOTD: Coral Gradient

Hello!!!

This is sort of a comparison post, sort of a swatch post, and sort of a NOTD post. See what had happened was? When I got these two colors from the China Glaze Summer Neons collection? They were clearly not dupes, but were so similar that I thought people might not want to buy both of them. So, I swatched them both so that people could see them each. First up, Flirty Tankini:

This is a beautiful color that I really adore. It's a coral-peach color with a pink shimmer. It's girly and fun at the same time, and makes me think of tropical drinks and Hawaiian Islands. In fact, as I'm starting at this, I'm realizing I absolutely have to wear it again soon.

Next is Surfin' For Boys:

This is a vibrant, dark orange neon that is bright, but not annoyingly so. It's the sort of orange that definitely doesn't go unnoticed, but has a richness to it, too.

As I was playing around with these to swatch them, I couldn't help but wonder what they'd look like in a gradient with one another. So, I tried it out, and I was not sorry...How tropical and beautiful is this stunner of a gradient?:

I think this is quite possibly my favorite gradient I've ever done. Both bcause the colors go so well together (I think) but also because I managed to get this one to be seamless, and that's something I normally struggle with. :)

I love each of these colors separately--neither of them really gave me the fits that other neons do--and I truly love them together in this gradient. Hope you do, too!

Thanks for reading,

M.
